Raw material cleaning: After the oats are harvested, they first need to be cleaned and removed, which may include the use of multi-process equipment such as the primary cleaner, vibrating screen, peeling machine, iron remover, rotary screen, specific gravity screen, etc. to clean the oats to ensure the cleanliness of the raw materials.
Oat Shelling: The oat shell is hard and soft inside, and the peeling equipment needs to use a diamond blade to cut the oat and throw it out.
Water heat treatment: Oat has a high fat content, in order to prevent the production of lipolysis enzymes in subsequent processing, so that fatty acid rout, quality deterioration, often use 100℃ water to passivate the enzyme, or use steam conditioning machine to kill enzymes.
Grain cutting: One grain is cut into 3 to 4 segments, and then sifted through various screening machines to separate the normal grain.
Press the tablet: In order to make the product have better digestibility, the crushed oats were gelatinized to change the structure and shape of the product. Before pressing, the seeds were humidified and heated to make the material water up to 17%, and then treated at 100℃ for 20 minutes.
Dry and cool: The moisture in the cereal is reduced to less than 10% by drying to facilitate preservation. The drying equipment is usually a fluidized bed dryer.
Packing: Finished oat flakes will be packed by the automatic packing machine or vacuum packing machine.
